Al is a tough one for me, a lot of time I think he does like the media attention but I think sometimes it is helpful with the spotlighthe shines on certain events. Plus I like seeing him go up against the white guys on msnbc and fox news, they can’t hang with him.

I voted for Al when he ran in the presidential primaries last time, I didn’t think he had a chance but I just wanted to support a black man.

I hate to see him coming. When I see that he has taken up a cause…I say Oh no…here he comes again. I think he needs to do more research before he decides to get involved.

Sometimes the media attention (positive and negative) that you get just from the fact that Al Sharpton is involved is priceless. Let’s face it, if your black child is missing…9 times out of 10 it is not national news. But if Al Sharpton gets involved…everyone will be looking for your child.

I would love to see him with a different hairstyle.

If given a choice between Rev. Al and Rev. Jesse Jackson, I’ll take the Rev. Al every time. I’m not overly hot about either one, but in a crunch, Rev. Al would be my guy. I can overlook the hair because that his tribute to the Godfather of Soul, the late great James Brown. Hit me!
